🚨 New Business Account Manager | IT & Cyber Security | Glasgow

I’m working with a rapidly growing UK technology business that is looking to add a New Business Account Manager to its Glasgow team.

This is a genuine hunter role - ideal for someone who enjoys creating opportunities rather than waiting for them to land in their inbox.

You’ll have the opportunity to build your own territory, engage with senior decision-makers and sell a broad portfolio across Managed IT, Cyber Security, Cloud, Connectivity and Modern Workplace.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building and managing your own new business pipeline
  • Prospecting through social selling, strategic outreach and networking
  • Identifying and engaging senior stakeholders
  • Running discovery meetings and presenting solutions
  • Working alongside technical pre-sales teams to develop tailored solutions
  • Managing the full sales cycle from first conversation through to close
  • Building long-term relationships and helping grow the Glasgow operation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
