Business Development Manager
Salary: £34,000–£38,000
Bonus: Up to 20% performance-related

You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of venues and event spaces, building relationships, uncovering opportunities and shaping how the organisation grows within the events agency and TMCs market.

- Develop new business across targeted sectors
- Grow and nurture your own portfolio of key accounts
- Lead relationships with event agencies, TMCs and other intermediaries
- Build a strong, healthy sales pipeline
- Deliver engaging client presentations and proposals
- Attend networking events, exhibitions and client meetings
- Work closely with Marketing to support campaigns and lead generation
- Track and report on your progress, wins and account growth
You won’t be doing this alone. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to identify opportunities, shape account strategies and drive revenue together.
Who You Are
You’re commercially minded, curious and relationship-focused. You enjoy meeting people, asking questions and understanding what makes clients tick. You’re motivated by results, but you also care about doing things well and building long-term partnerships.

You’ll bring:
- 2+ years’ experience in sales, account management, events, hospitality
- Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills
- A proactive, commercially aware mindset
- Great planning and organisational skills
- Experience using CRM systems
- A full UK driving licence
Experience with event agencies, TMCs or the meetings and events sector is a bonus, but not essential if you’re eager to learn.
