Role Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our IT Services and Solutions offering across the UK, EMEA and North America. This role will focus on winning new business while also managing, developing, and expanding existing client accounts.
You will target and engage key client segments including System Integrators, Managed Service Providers, IT Consulting firms, and global Big Tech organisations, positioning tailored contractor hiring solutions to meet complex workforce demands.
The successful candidate will be a proven new business hunter within the staffing/agency industry, with a strong track record of securing contractor hiring engagements. You will take a consultative, solutions-led approach to selling, positioning workforce solutions across onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery models.
This is a strategic and hands-on role requiring the ability to build and manage short, medium, and long-term sales pipelines, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and deliver sustained revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and win new IT services and contractor workforce business across EMEA, UK focusing on System Integrators, MSPs, IT Consulting firms, and Big Tech clients.
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy aligned to regional growth targets and vertical market opportunities within these key segments.
- Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline of opportunities across short, medium, and long-term horizons.
- Drive new client acquisition through proactive outbound business development, networking, and strategic account targeting.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts, identifying opportunities to expand service lines and increase contractor spend.
- Position and sell tailored contractor solutions including onshore, nearshore, and offshore resourcing models.
- Lead client engagements including discovery sessions, solution design, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure successful fulfilment and high levels of client satisfaction.
- Negotiate commercial terms, MSAs, and service agreements to ensure profitable, long-term partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across procurement, HR, and technology leadership teams.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and market insights to senior leadership.
- Represent the business at industry events, client meetings, and networking forums across EMEA.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven track record of winning new IT& services contractor business within a staffing/recruitment agency environment.
- Strong experience working with or selling into System Integrators, MSPs, IT consulting firms, and/or Big Tech organisations.
- Demonstrated success as a new business hunter, with the ability to open doors and close high-value deals.
- Experience selling onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery models.
- Ability to build and manage multi-stage sales pipelines across varying time horizons.
- Excellent commercial acumen with experience negotiating complex contracts and pricing models.
- Highly consultative, solutions-oriented sales approach.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills at senior and C-level.
- Self-motivated, high-energy, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Existing relationships to leverage with firms including Capgemini, Accenture, Atos, CGI, Sopra Steria, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCLTech, Tech Mahindra, and/or Cognizant or similar would be a distinct advantage.
