I'm partnering with an ambitious and growing SaaS business based in Bradford that is looking to add a high-performing Business Development Manager to its commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with significant growth plans, an outstanding product offering, and a genuinely huge market opportunity.

The organisation has already built a strong foundation and is now looking for someone who can drive new customer acquisition, open new markets, and play a key role in the next stage of growth.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you'll take ownership of identifying and winning new business opportunities across a range of sectors.

  • Proactively generating new business opportunities through outbound sales activity
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Conducting discovery calls and understanding client challenges
  • Delivering compelling product demonstrations and presentations
  • Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close
  • Developing relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Working closely with marketing and internal teams to maximise opportunities
  • Consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Identifying market trends and opportunities for growth

You'll likely have:

  • Proven experience in a Business Development, New Business, or Sales role
  • Experience selling SaaS, software, technology solutions, or services
  • A genuine hunter mentality with a proactive and resilient approach
  • Confidence in cold calling and outbound business development
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • A commercial mindset and ability to identify opportunities
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and working towards targets
  • High levels of self-motivation, energy, and drive

Location

The role is based in Bradford with an expectation of being in the office a couple of days each week to collaborate with colleagues and the leadership team. The office is easily accessible from Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region via excellent road and public transport links.
