What You'll Be Doing Here

As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities for water hygiene compliance and water treatment through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation methods within your defined territory.

  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by developing an ongoing pipeline of quotations, tenders, and proposals.
  • Manage and grow new business revenues from existing accounts, leveraging cross-Group relationships and your own network.
  • Accurately forecast the sales pipeline, provide timely reports, quote and estimate jobs, and develop/implement an agreed regional sales strategy.
  • Present tailored solutions and services to new and existing clients, managing expectations to align with our operational delivery capabilities.

Who We're Looking For

  • Successful solution-based selling experience, with a proven track record of closing new business. Experience selling services into facilities, estates, maintenance, and procurement managers is a distinct advantage.
  • A strong understanding of the sales process and a working knowledge of the facilities management or compliance marketplace.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and motivated to work independently.
  • Must live within the allocated sales region, hold a full, clean valid UK driving licence, and be flexible to travel within the region with occasional UK-wide travel.

This is a permanent and full-time role (37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday), and you can truly switch off as there's no on-call or weekend work, plus the office is closed during Christmas!
