Job title: Business Development Manager
Role 1 locations: Australia, Malaysia or Singapore
Role 2 locations: Germany, Poland, Netherlands or UK
Our AI Business Unit (AI BU) is a new function within the BSI Regulatory Service (RS). This business unit is seeking two Business Development Manager’s with prior consultative sales experience. The ideal professional will leverage BSI’s reputation, capabilities and global network of top tier expertise to create sales opportunities in existing and new markets; successfully sell to new and existing clients; and expand market share across industries such as Tech, Professional services, healthcare and Finance.
This role will be homebased with some travel to clients (existing & new) sites for meetings and events as required. One role can be based in Australia, Malaysia or Singapore and the second can be based in Germany, Poland, Netherlands or UK but the successful candidate must have fluency in German language.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage existing and new Regulatory Service clients to manage accounts and sell AI Service offerings.
- Identify new prospects and grow the BSI customer base through targeted calls and visits with the aim of generating profitable revenue across the product portfolio.
- Proactively engage and sell AI services (such as conformity testing and training) to Biometric, Manufacturing and other sector clients.
- Manage potential of territory through account and opportunity management to develop a solid pipeline. Produce accurate sales forecasts in a timely manner.
- Be able to present to key decision makers and larger audiences. Design and deliver presentations to small scale conferences. Effectively convey complex ideas and business proposals showing the breadth and depth of BSI product offering.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Substantial experience of working in a professional service environment with a track record of successful consultative sales accomplishments (Local, Regional, National, Global account growth and development).
- If applying for the EMEA/ UK role you must be fluent in German language.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Good knowledge of AI Regulations and related Guidance beneficial but not essential.
