Business Development Manager

Healthtech Solutions

Based in North West ideally, or Midlands considered

Salary: Circa £60-65k basic + uncapped commission

The company are a very successful, early stage healthtech solutions business, approaching £2m ARR and 300 live sites, built almost entirely through word of mouth - customers telling other customers.

They are now ready to turn that momentum into a proper growth engine and are building the sales team to get them there.

About the role

You'll join a small, focused sales team and own your own book of business in the North West region, running the full cycle from first conversation to close.

You won't be figuring it out alone, the Head of Sales still works directly in the industry they sell into and runs his own operation alongside this role. He will co-sell early deals with you, so you're learning the market from someone who's lived it, not just read about it. Marketing is feeding pipeline, and product ships what the market's actually asking for.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About you

You're a proven B2B SaaS salesperson who closes at volume, with a steady flow of mid-market deals every month, not one big win a quarter.

  • Have solid B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally high-velocity and mid-market
  • Can run a real pipeline - multiple deals in motion, disciplined follow-up, consistent close rates
  • Are as comfortable generating your own opportunities as working warm ones
  • Are commercially sharp, self-motivated, and confident owning your patch
  • Hold yourself to your numbers without being told to
  • Bring energy that lifts a small team, not just your own results

Experience selling into a specialist or regulated market, like healthtech, is a genuine plus, but it isn't essential. They can teach the product and the market to the right person.

Why now

They are profitable, bootstrapped and 300 sites in - stable enough to back you, growing fast enough to stretch you and still small enough that you'll genuinely shape what the sales function becomes as they scale.
