About the Role
Build Your Own Introducer Portfolio with Home Group Financial
Home Group Financial (HGF) is a growing financial services business providing mortgages, protection, wealth management and financial planning across the UK. We're looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to help us expand nationally by securing new introducer relationships. If you're commercially minded, enjoy building relationships and like the idea of creating an income that grows as your network grows, we'd love to hear from you.
The Opportunity
This isn't a traditional business development role. You won't be advising clients, completing applications or dealing with administration. Your role is to build relationships with businesses that can introduce clients to Home Group Financial. Once the relationship is established, our experienced advisers take care of everything else.
You'll focus on opening doors, developing partnerships and maintaining strong introducer relationships. Typical introducers include:
- Estate Agents
- Accountants
- Tax Advisers
- Solicitors
- Employers & HR Teams
- Recruitment Businesses
- Property Professionals
- Employee Benefit Providers
- Networking Groups
- Professional Service Firms

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You can work entirely remotely using telephone, email, LinkedIn and video meetings.
Why This Role Is Different
Most commission-only roles mean starting again every month. This doesn't.
Every introducer relationship you build has the potential to generate referrals on an ongoing basis. As your network grows, so does your recurring commission income. Over time you'll build your own portfolio of active introducers, creating an increasingly valuable income stream while continuing to develop new relationships.
Earnings
This is a commission-only opportunity with genuinely uncapped earning potential. You'll be paid for every completed client introduced through your referral network.
Typical commission rates start from:
- £100+ per completed mortgage case
- £250+ per completed wealth or financial planning client
There is no limit to the size of the introducer portfolio you can build or the commission you can earn. For the right individual, this represents an opportunity to create a substantial recurring income by developing long-term commercial partnerships across the UK.
The full commission structure will be discussed during the recruitment process.

- A professional and confident approach
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivation and resilience
- A commercial mindset
- The ability to work independently
