Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our MedTech division. This role is pivotal in driving profitable revenue growth through the acquisition of new customers in the MedTech, Diagnostics, Life Science, and Laboratory Equipment sectors. The successful candidate will position our company as a specialist partner for logistics, installation, storage, and lifecycle management services.
Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive MedTech sales strategy.
- Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
- Securing meetings with key decision-makers in target organizations.
- Identifying customer challenges and developing tailored solutions.
- Producing proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
- Leading negotiations through to contract award.
- Representing the business at industry events and exhibitions.
- Supporting the ongoing expansion of the MedTech division.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify and target prospective MedTech OEMs, Diagnostics companies, Life Science organizations, and healthcare providers.
- Develop structured prospecting plans for named target accounts.
- Generate and qualify new opportunities through direct outreach.
- Create and maintain a healthy sales pipeline aligned with annual growth targets.

Lead Generation & Market Development
- Develop leads through various channels including LinkedIn, industry exhibitions, conferences, strategic partnerships, customer referrals, and marketing campaigns.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Service, and Commercial Functions.
Customer Engagement
- Understand customer operating models and logistics challenges.
- Conduct discovery meetings and site visits.
- Develop tailored solutions to improve customer performance and experience.
- Position the business as a specialist MedTech logistics and installation partner.
Proposal & Commercial Development
- Collaborate with operational and technical teams to develop customer solutions.
- Prepare customer presentations, proposals, and pricing submissions.
- Contribute to tender responses and contract negotiations.
- Present solutions confidently at all organisational levels.
Opportunity Management & Deal Closure
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasting.
- Lead commercial discussions and negotiations.
- Secure signed contracts and ensure successful customer onboarding.

Market & Competitor Intelligence
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Identify emerging opportunities within the MedTech sector.
- Provide market insight and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Support future service development and innovation initiatives.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Marketing, and Senior Leadership.
- Ensure smooth transition of won business into operational delivery.
- Support customer onboarding and implementation activities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in business development within the MedTech or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of the sales process and customer engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working Style
