- Full time: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8.30am – 6pm and Tuesday & Thursday 8.30am – 5.30pm
About The Role
Our Business Development Managers play a vital role in driving revenue growth and expanding the company's market presence. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities, while building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will develop and execute effective sales strategies that deliver sustainable growth and long-term value.
The ideal candidate will have proven B2B experience within the automotive sector and a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment. You will also have strong commercial acumen – with the ability to analyse data and market trends to inform strategic decisions – and be proficient in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel as required, including occasional overnight stays.

Day-to-day duties
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads across target markets.
- Identify and pursue high-potential clients, partnerships and contract opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive engagement, relationship building and effective negotiation.
- Establish, develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders.
- Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell or expand services within existing accounts.
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations and product development, to ensure client requirements are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Partner with the Head of Business Development to monitor competitor activity, market trends, and evolving customer needs.
Essential Skills
- High levels of persistence and drive, with a proactive approach to identifying and converting new business opportunities
- Ability to deliver compelling, persuasive sales presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong customer-centric mindset, with a deep understanding of client needs, challenges, and decision drivers
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, ensuring efficient pipeline and account management
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and credibility in all interactions
