Business Development Manager – Supply Chain & Logistics (UK Market)

SF Express is one of Asia's leading integrated logistics and supply chain service providers, operating across more than 200 countries and regions. As part of our continued expansion in the UK, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in the local market and develop strategic partnerships across the supply chain and logistics sector.

This role focuses on building new business opportunities within the UK market, targeting local enterprises, international businesses, and companies trading with Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand SF Express' UK market presence.
  • Identify, approach, and acquire new customers across logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, and supply chain sectors.
  • Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts.
  • Promote SF Express' international express, freight forwarding, warehousing, and integrated supply chain solutions.
  • Work closely with operations and solution teams to design customer-focused logistics solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation through to contract signing.
  • Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and participate in RFQs/RFPs.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new industry opportunities and customer demands.
  • Represent SF Express at industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

Requirements

Essential

  • 5+ years of Business Development or Sales experience within Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Supply Chain.
  • Proven experience developing new business within the UK market.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding, warehousing, contract logistics, or supply chain solutions.
  • Excellent commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Highly Preferred

  • Experience working for an Asian or Chinese logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce company.
  • Experience supporting Chinese enterprises expanding into the UK or Europe.
  • Familiarity with China-UK trade flows and cross-border logistics.
  • Existing customer network in the UK market.
