We are seeking an ambitious, commercially focused Business Development Manager to lead our growth strategy, secure new business opportunities and strengthen our position as a market leader. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven sales and commercial professional who thrives on building relationships, winning contracts and delivering sustainable business growth.
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new revenue streams across CSP's service portfolio. You will lead major tender submissions, develop strategic partnerships, nurture key client relationships and oversee the commercial growth of our business. The role requires close collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team and Board members to deliver CSP's strategic objectives.
This role is primarily based at our Head Office with hybrid working available; however, national and occasional international travel will be required to support business development activities.
What you will be doing as a Business Development Manager
- Develop and deliver CSP's business development strategy and annual Business Development Plan (BDP).
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across event traffic management, security, stewarding and commercial parking services.
- Lead competitive tender processes and complex commercial negotiations.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities across public and private sector clients.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners and industry stakeholders.
- Represent CSP at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and legislative developments.
- Lead and develop the Business Development and Commercial Parking teams.
- Manage budgets, forecasts and commercial performance targets.
- Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

What we need from you as a Business Development Manager
- Proven experience in a senior business development or commercial leadership role.
- Experience within events, facilities management, security or related service industries
- Track record of winning large tenders and negotiating complex contracts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to delivery.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification is desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
