We're exclusively representing a well-funded, entrepreneurial specialist property lender seeking a Business Development Manager to play a key role in the next stage of its growth. Our client is a growing specialist lender providing residential, commercial, mixed-use, and property investment finance solutions across the UK. Backed by institutional and private capital, the business has established a strong platform and is now focused on expanding its broker network and increasing lending volumes over the coming years.
Operating from Mayfair, the business offers a collaborative environment, quick decision-making, and direct access to senior leadership.

About the Role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for originating new lending opportunities, developing broker relationships, and driving loan book growth. This is a relationship-led, field-focused role requiring regular broker meetings, networking activity, and proactive business development.
You will work closely with underwriting and senior management to structure transactions and deliver an excellent experience for brokers and borrowers alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, introducers, and property professionals.
- Generate new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and specialist property finance.
- Conduct regular face-to-face broker meetings and networking activity.
- Identify, originate, and progress lending opportunities through to completion.
- Promote the lender's property finance proposition across the intermediary market.
- Work closely with underwriting to structure and deliver appropriate facilities.
- Maintain a strong presence within the specialist finance market.

Skills & Experience
- 2-4 years' experience within bridging finance?
- Proven business development and relationship management experience.
- Existing broker relationships within the specialist lending market.
- Strong understanding of bridging and specialist property finance products.
- Confident networking and communication skills.
- Positive, energetic, and highly motivated approach.
