Role: Business Development Manager

Covering: South West Region

Industry: Packaging & Print

Salary: up to £60,000 plus bonus

We Help Recruit are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to work for a leading global packaging business.


About Our Client

The Role

As the Business Development Manager you will be instrumental in driving sales by understanding customer needs and delivering tailored product offerings, focusing on both high-volume clients and bespoke requests.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and align our products and services accordingly.
  • Identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs actively seeking out new sales opportunities through a wide array of channels.
  • Ensure all client questions or concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Negotiate / close deals and handle complaints or objections, maintaining a professional attitude that reflects the company's commitment to quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results, gather feedback, and refine sales strategies.
  • Attend meetings and events to network and promote the company's innovative solutions.
  • Maintain records of sales, revenue, invoices, and provide regular sales reports to management outlining successes, challenges, and areas for growth.

Business Development Manager Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in packaging.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Passionate about customer satisfaction.
