Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Business Development Manager role based in Nottingham, with flexibility for some work from home. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and nurture relationships with key customers, and expand Victor Sports’ presence in the medical and sports medical markets.

  • Managing a sales pipeline
  • Conducting market research
  • Preparing proposals and quotations
  • Negotiating commercial terms
  • Collaborating with internal teams on pricing, marketing campaigns, and product positioning
  • Tracking performance metrics and reporting on sales activities
  • Participating in industry events and customer visits to promote Victor Sports’ portfolio and gather market feedback

Qualifications

  • Proven business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and negotiation.
  • Experience in account management and customer relationship building within medical, sports, or related sectors.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels.
  • Capability in market research, opportunity analysis, and strategic planning to support growth initiatives.
  • Comfort with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and basic data analysis to monitor performance.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to work effectively in a hybrid environment with minimal supervision.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and contributing to revenue growth.
  • Knowledge of medical products, physiotherapy supplies, or sporting equipment is highly advantageous.
  • Valid right to work in the UK and willingness to travel to customers and events as required.
