Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, nurture relationships with prospective and existing clients, and develop strategies to expand the company’s presence across target sectors.

  • Conducting market research
  • Qualifying leads
  • Preparing proposals and quotations
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate specifications and pricing
  • Managing the sales pipeline from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing

The role also involves:

  • Forecasting sales
  • Reporting on performance
  • Attending virtual meetings and presentations
  • Collaborating with marketing to support campaigns and brand positioning

The Business Development Manager is expected to:

  • Represent Pro Vinyl Floors Ltd. professionally
  • Maintain a strong understanding of commercial flooring solutions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in processes and customer experience

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in business development, B2B & B2C sales, and account management, with the ability to generate and convert qualified leads into long-term clients.
  • Strong capabilities in market research, prospecting, and pipeline management to identify opportunities and prioritize high-value targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders, influence decisions, and close complex deals.
  • Competence in CRM systems, sales reporting, and basic data analysis to track performance and inform strategic decisions.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in commercial interiors, construction, or flooring solutions is highly beneficial, along with an understanding of sector-specific requirements (e.g., healthcare, retail, hospitality).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in a sales or business development role.
  • Valid authorization to work in the UK and willingness to travel to client sites and industry events when required.
