The Role
As a Business Development Manager - Public Sector Healthcare, you will be playing a pivotal role in maximising sales revenue, with a target-driven attitude, hungry to achieve results. You will display your ability to forge effective relationships at all levels (including CxOs), using tenacity and experience to drive value. You will need to believe in the vision and values of TCS and appreciate its extensive domain experience and presence in the global Healthcare and Lifesciences market. You will fundamentally understand the Public Sector Healthcare market in UK&I, be aware of the competitive landscape and emerging trends, be an expert in the science of consultative selling for IT services, highly credible with clients, and have strong commercial awareness, including innovative approaches to deal structures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build a strong and qualified pipeline of new business within Public Sector Healthcare market.
- Assist in creating and implementing the sales strategy for the target market.
- Identify key opportunities and develop compelling propositions and business cases.
- Ensure regular use of TCS bid governance processes, sales reporting, and pipeline management tools.
- Develop and maintain senior level relationships within target market / accounts to maximise sales opportunities.
- Generating new business sales and revenue in the target sector.
The Profile
Key Skills/Knowledge/ Experience:
- A strong track record of ‘Health Tech’ sales success within the sector (Public and/or Private Healthcare) across UK and Ireland.
- Extensive experience in the Health and Social Care industry with a track record of competing and winning in the market.
- Experience of working with virtual teams spread over multiple locations and countries.
- Broad experience of the IT industry, markets, trends, emerging technologies, and their implications.
- Demonstrable experience in generating sales revenue, with a consulting / solution sales approach.
- Ability to strongly negotiate and communicate across a varied audience, with an innovative style, displaying the ability to lead and close new opportunities.
- Experience of proactive deal shaping with strong customer stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of working with Hyperscalers, Advisory and Consultancy firms as Bid Partners.
- Flexible in working hours and willingness to be driven by the needs of bid timescales.
- Team player and able to win the respect of colleagues, self-starter and ambitious mindset.
