About Us
One team. Global challenges. Infinite opportunities. At Viasat, we’re on a mission to deliver connections with the capacity to change the world. For more than 35 years, Viasat has helped shape how consumers, businesses, governments and militaries around the globe communicate. What You'll Do
In this role, you will contribute directly to securing the most sensitive and critical information for defence and government organisations across the UK and abroad. As part of a team dedicated to delivering trusted data security products and services, you’ll bring to bear your relationships, networks, and understanding of the digital technology sector. This will help you identify customer missions, challenges, and opportunities where Data‑at‑Rest solutions make a measurable impact. You’ll support critical sovereign missions by helping customers articulate their needs into capability gaps, shaping both current solution adoption and the development of future products. Your work will directly influence mission outcomes, protect high‑value information, and ensure that what our customers depend on today continues to secure their future.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
