Our client is a highly regarded London-based main contractor specialising in building safety remediation, heavy refurbishment and change of use schemes. Driven by a rapidly growing project pipeline and sustained market demand, they are expanding their business development function to secure new commercial opportunities across Greater London and the home counties.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager will take full ownership of driving new business growth within the building safety remediation and refurbishment sectors. Operating autonomously across the M25, you will identify target clients, cultivate key industry relationships and secure profitable tendering opportunities.

This position is ideal for an established Business Development Manager or an experienced construction professional (such as a Quantity Surveyor, Project Manager or Employer’s Agent) possessing strong technical acumen and a network of industry contacts who is seeking a strategic commercial transition.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
