About the role
We are working with a top accountancy and tax advisory business with a diverse client base from high-net-worth individuals to ambitious business owners, who are growing at a rapid rate. They are looking for a Business Development Manager who will handle first conversations with clients and referrers, attend conferences and generate new business.

- Generate and qualify leads through events, networking, targeted outreach, and referrals.
- Match client needs to the right Partner and service line, improving opportunity quality and conversion.
- Accelerate sales cycles through strong discovery, clear briefs, timely introductions, and disciplined follow-up.
- Maximise event and marketing ROI through targeted campaigns, meetings, thought leadership, and actionable market intelligence.
- Strengthen commercial performance through accurate CRM, consistent processes, cross-sell opportunities, and measurable pipeline metrics.
About you…
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across Partners, Growth, and Marketing, including proposals and RFPs.
- Proven business development and sales experience, ideally within professional services, with consistent target achievement.
- Lead generation, discovery, networking, and event experience, with disciplined follow-up and effective handovers.
- Strong CRM, pipeline, and data skills, using KPIs to support forecasting and improve conversion, sales cycle, and ROI.
- Comfortable working in a regulated environment, with knowledge of GDPR, NDAs, and conflict checks; degree or equivalent experience preferred.
