About the Company

Eden Scott is delighted to be supporting KONCIV, a growing Norwegian technology company, in the search for their first UK-based Business Development Manager. Konciv develops operational management software for the energy services sector, helping companies streamline asset management, warehousing, rental operations, maintenance workflows and personnel management through a single integrated platform. Following strong success in Norway, they are now launching into the UK market and are looking for someone to lead that growth journey. This is a rare opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage, taking ownership of UK market development while working closely with an established leadership team and proven product offering.

About the Role

The Opportunity

As Konciv's first UK hire, you'll be responsible for building relationships and generating new business across the oilfield services and offshore sectors. This is a consultative sales role focused on opening doors, identifying opportunities, and guiding customers through complex purchasing decisions. You'll have direct support from Konciv's CEO and leadership team, with genuine scope to grow into a senior commercial leadership position as the UK business expands.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a new UK sales pipeline through targeted business development activity.
  • Engage with decision-makers across oilfield services, offshore and industrial service companies.
  • Manage opportunities from initial contact through to contract award.
  • Deliver solution-led sales presentations alongside technical experts from Norway.
  • Represent the business at key industry events including Offshore Europe and Subsea Expo.
  • Provide market intelligence, customer feedback and commercial insight to the leadership team.

Required Skills

  • Proven success in B2B sales and business development.
  • Comfortable developing opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building.
  • Experience managing longer-term consultative sales cycles.
  • Self-motivated, resilient and capable of working autonomously.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience within energy, offshore, industrial services or technology sales would be advantageous.
