The Role
You will be a key member of the sales team with a focus on developing new business opportunities in the North East of England with new and existing financial advice and wealth management clients. Your primary focus will be growing the level of funds under management within our range of managed portfolios, multi asset funds and wealth platform.
Your role will incorporate building meaningful, trust-based, consultative relationships with existing and prospective clients. You will conduct regular meetings both face-to-face and remotely in order to increase awareness of the business, its products and services and to develop cross-selling opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify, generate and qualify new business leads.
- Support the business in planning and delivering on targets.
- Grow the level of funds under management by developing new and existing relationships.
- Assist in preparation of presentation materials and deliver them internally and externally.
- Schedule, prepare and deliver training sessions with intermediary clients.
- Ensure delivery of proposals and marketing documents to prospective clients.
- Monitor and understand the position of our competitors and trends of the market to help to strategically develop our business.
- Build trusted and credible relationships with other teams within the business to ensure we exceed client expectations.
- Ensuring the integrity and culture of our firm by adhering to risk and compliance policies.
- Attendance at sales meetings.

Requirements
- Proven track record of investment/platform sales.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Must be organised and have good attention to detail.
- Excellent team player who can communicate effectively.
- Min 10 years’ experience in UK Financial Services Sector.
- Possesses strong IT skills (excel, CRM systems).
- Highly passionate, proactive, hands on and hardworking.
- Used to working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and able to adapt to change.
- Ability to work and deliver to tight deadlines.

Base Salary Compensation Range
GBP 57,000.00-84,333.33
Commission Target
75% Annual
This role offers a commission target which may vary by up to ±15% depending on final plan design and business factors. We expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range. The specific compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
