About Global Ardour Recycling

Global Ardour Recycling Limited is a growing, commercially focused recycling business helping industrial organisations across the UK transform their scrap into a professionally managed and commercially valuable material stream.

Our Industrial Contracts division works with businesses of all sizes, from individual manufacturing facilities to complex multi-site operations, delivering tailored recycling, logistics and commercial solutions. We combine national coverage with strong local operational capability, market-led pricing and dedicated support across commercial, finance, operations, safety, environmental and transport.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to help accelerate the growth of our Industrial Contracts division. This is a key role for someone who can identify opportunities, build trusted relationships with decision-makers and develop solutions that deliver genuine value for both the customer and Global Ardour Recycling.

You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while building long-term relationships with customers across the industrial sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, target and develop new business opportunities across the UK industrial sector.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at customer organisations.
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of new industrial contract opportunities.
  • Understand customer requirements and develop commercially compelling, tailored solutions.
  • Lead the development of proposals and commercial tenders for individual sites and multi-site contracts.
  • Work closely with operational, transport, environmental, safety and finance teams to ensure solutions are practical and deliverable.
  • Conduct site visits and identify opportunities to improve recycling processes, logistics and commercial returns.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and support the successful onboarding of new customers.
  • Develop existing customer relationships to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor market conditions and identify emerging opportunities within the recycling and industrial sectors.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
  • Represent Global Ardour Recycling professionally at customer meetings, industry events and other business development opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
