Business Development Manager – Global Hospitality Installation Business - £70K + Benefits

My client is a leading hospitality installation business with a brilliant global reputation.

They are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships and driving profitable revenue growth, in order to support the continued growth of the business.

This is the perfect role for a high performing Business Development Manager looking to join an exciting business who can match their ambition and offer genuine career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the hospitality and leisure sector.
  • Build strong relationships with hotel groups, restaurants, pubs, bars, leisure operators, commercial B&I, contractors, developers, architects, interior designers, project managers, developers, consultants and other design and construction professionals.
  • Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline from initial prospecting through to contract award.
  • Develop new accounts while maximising opportunities within existing customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and work with internal project and installation teams to develop commercially viable solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals and tenders.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close new business opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
  • Attend industry events, networking opportunities and customer meetings to increase the company's profile.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, project management and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Proven experience in a B2B business development or sales role.
  • A strong network and understanding of the hospitality, foodservice, leisure or commercial interiors market.
  • Experience selling project-based solutions rather than purely transactional products.
  • A proven track record of generating leads, developing relationships and converting opportunities into revenue.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • The confidence to engage with senior decision-makers and multiple stakeholders.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the drive to open doors and win business.
  • Strong organisation and pipeline management skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively across sales, operations and project delivery.
