About Ticmint

Ticmint is a white-label event ticketing and management platform built for event organisers, venues and sports organisations that want greater control over their brand, audience data and revenue.

We provide the technology behind ticketing experiences across sports, festivals, entertainment, venues and live events, working with clients across the UK and international markets.

As we continue to grow our UK presence, we’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager to develop new business, build strong industry relationships and grow our client base.

The Role

This is a hands-on commercial role for someone who likes to make things happen.

You’ll take ownership of identifying opportunities, opening doors, building relationships and converting them into long-term clients.

We want someone who brings energy and initiative to the role. Someone who sees a potential client, partnership or opportunity and goes after it.

You’ll work closely with the founders and wider team, while having the autonomy to develop relationships and opportunities across the UK market.

What You’ll Own

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Identify and approach event organisers, venues, promoters, sports organisations and other potential clients
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers across the UK events industry
  • Generate opportunities through your network, outbound activity, referrals, partnerships and industry events
  • Lead product demos and commercial conversations
  • Manage opportunities from first conversation through proposal, negotiation and close
  • Develop strategic partnerships that generate new business
  • Represent Ticmint at events, conferences and industry meetings
  • Maintain strong pipeline discipline and CRM management
  • Work closely with product and implementation teams to understand client requirements and deliver the right solution
  • Bring ideas, market insight and initiative to how we continue growing in the UK

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
