About Hex Energy

We provide design, installation, commissioning, servicing and long-term maintenance support for renewable heating systems throughout England. Our service and maintenance division delivers planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, remote monitoring, optimisation and servicing contracts for a growing portfolio of customers.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the entire sales process from prospecting and lead generation through to contract negotiation, handover and ongoing account management. They will become the primary relationship owner for key clients and play a major role in expanding Hex Energy's recurring revenue streams.
Experience selling maintenance contracts, service agreements or engineering solutions on a B2B basis is essential. Previous experience within the heat pump, HVAC, M&E, building services or renewable energy sectors is highly desirable.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
