Business Development Manager – Fire Protection

TVF Fire Protection | Surrey & South East

Salary up to £50,000 DOE + Company Vehicle + Performance-Related Commission

TVF Fire Protection, part of the LS Fire Group, is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to support our continued growth across the South East.

This is a genuine new-business / hunter role.

We are looking for someone who enjoys opening doors, starting conversations and creating opportunities from a cold start. You will be responsible for developing and managing your own pipeline, taking opportunities from initial prospecting through proposal and negotiation to order placement and structured handover to our operational teams.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and targeting new organisations that align with our capabilities and growth strategy.
  • Building a consistent pipeline through proactive outbound calling, targeted campaigns, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Arranging customer meetings, site visits, and presentations with key decision-makers.
  • Identifying multi-service and longer-term contract opportunities across our fire-protection portfolio.
  • Working with our technical and operational teams to develop commercially viable solutions and proposals.
  • Negotiating opportunities while protecting both revenue and margin.
  • Maintaining an accurate and well-managed sales pipeline within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Producing realistic forecasts and maintaining clear next actions across all opportunities.
  • Completing a structured handover to Operations once new business has been secured.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
