Business Development Manager - Hoopers Probate Genealogists
Since 1923 when Alfred Hooper founded the company bearing his name, Hoopers has set the standard for the profession of probate genealogy – the tracing of missing beneficiaries. Over a century on, we pride ourselves on maintaining friendly working relationships whilst delivering a quality of service that is unmatched.
About the role
Hoopers have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Business Development Manager based from our London office on a hybrid basis. The role will be focusing on the management and expansion of our existing client base and identifying new business opportunities across the UK which will involve travelling to meet clients. This position is key to our expansion strategy in both the Public and Legal Sectors, building long term business partnerships and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities
- Relationship management to build and develop strong client partnerships.
- Identify and understand client needs to deliver new services and business opportunities.
- Developing sales strategies to successfully target new business through market research, networking to key prospective clients
- Manage social media to proactively enhance the company presence and brand awareness to increase customer engagement and loyalty.
- Organising business events, conferences and exhibitions to engage with both existing and new clients
- Supporting technology developments to improve management and client reporting, productivity and performance

Additional requirements
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- A full UK driving licence and own car.
- Legal right to work documentation.
- Social media experience desirable but not essential
