Business Development Manager - Senior-Level

Introduction

Join a fast-growing UK cyber security SaaS business helping organisations reduce real-world risk through smarter security awareness. This Business Development Manager role sits at the heart of growth, winning new customers, and building relationships with senior IT and information security stakeholders, all while developing your sales craft in a supportive, high-performance team.

Role Overview

  • Location: Leeds (hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days remote)
  • Package: £37,000 - £45,000 basic + uncapped commission
  • Industry: Cyber Security / SaaS

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prospect and build a strong pipeline using phone, LinkedIn, email and sales tools, focused on consistent, quality new business generation
  • Run consultative conversations with IT and InfoSec leaders, positioning solutions clearly and tailoring demos to what matters most to each customer
  • Own the full sales cycle end-to-end — from first meeting through to contract close and a smooth handover to Customer Success
  • Deliver against a quarterly sales target, with clear forecasting and disciplined pipeline management
  • Collaborate closely with SDRs, channel partners and marketing to elevate meeting quality, improve win rates and maximise territory results

Main Skills Needed:

  • Proven B2B sales experience (minimum 1 year), with evidence of self-generated opportunities you’ve personally closed
  • Strong prospecting capability across phone and digital channels, with resilience and consistency
  • Confident, clear communication and presentation skills — able to influence stakeholders and run discovery-led conversations
  • Target-driven mindset with a competitive edge, balanced with being a genuinely collaborative team player
  • Coachable, curious and quick to apply feedback to improve your results
