Senior Sponsorship Sales Executive – Technology Events

Location: Remote (UK-based), occasional team meet-ups
Package: Competitive base DOE + uncapped commission (Year 1 OTE £105k–£115k+)
Type: Full-time, Permanent

The role

We need a hunter. Technology Leaders Club runs executive summits, private dinners, and bespoke experiences for a community of 16,000+ senior IT, security, and data leaders. You'll be closing significant multi-event partnerships, from focused single-summit sponsorships through to enterprise-wide, six-figure annual commitments. You'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

For your first 6 months, this role is almost exclusively new business. You'll be building your own portfolio from scratch through self-generated pipeline and outbound prospecting. We'll give you a target account list and access to a genuine buyer audience, but the deals are yours to find. As your portfolio grows, rebookings and account expansion become a bigger share of your pipeline, so the hardest prospecting is front-loaded into year one.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a sales role first. No ticket sales, no event logistics.

What you'll be doing

  • Prospecting and closing new business sponsorship partnerships across cybersecurity, SaaS, data, AI, and cloud vendors
  • Running discovery calls with CMOs, Heads of Field Marketing, ABM, and Partnerships leads to understand their pipeline goals
  • Building proposals tied to what they're actually trying to achieve, then closing
  • Managing your own pipeline and forecast in CRM
  • Growing your book over time through rebookings and account expansion, once you've built it

What we're looking for

  • 4–8+ years of new business sponsorship, event, or partnership sales, ideally in tech, SaaS, or cybersecurity
  • A track record you can point to: new business closed, average deal size, quota attainment against a cold-start target
  • Comfortable being judged on new logos before you have rebookings and warm relationships to lean on
  • Comfortable with a commission-heavy structure that rewards hard work
  • CRM discipline (Hubspot or similar)

  • As you build your portfolio, the hardest prospecting gets easier: rebookings and expansion become a growing share of your income
  • Remote, 21 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown + your birthday off
