Business Development Manager
Autajon Packaging Simply Cartons is part of the Autajon Group, a European leader in premium and specialist packaging solutions. We design and manufacture high-quality folding cartons for leading brands across food, confectionery, spirits, beauty, healthcare and gifting.
As part of our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager with a strong hunter mentality to accelerate new business wins across our target sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition across key sectors
- Identify, target and win new customers through proactive prospecting and networking
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities via Salesforce
- Lead the full sales cycle – from initial contact through to negotiation and close
- Deliver compelling presentations and commercially robust proposals
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Manage and grow a small existing portfolio
- Collaborate closely with internal teams
- Represent the business at exhibitions, industry events and customer meetings

About You
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proven “hunter” with a strong track record of winning new business in a B2B environment
- Experience within folding cartons / packaging / manufacturing highly desirable
- Commercially driven with the ability to open doors and close deals
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, resilient and results-focused
- Able to manage your own pipeline and prioritise effectively
- Experience using CRM systems (ideally Salesforce)
- Full UK driving licence
