Business Development Manager

London | Office Based | £45,000-£55,000 Base + Uncapped Commission

The Role

You'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close, building relationships with senior decision-makers and developing strategic opportunities across the education sector. This is a true hunter role where you'll have the freedom to create opportunities, challenge yourself and directly influence revenue growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Generating and qualifying new business opportunities
  • Building and managing your own sales pipeline
  • Running discovery meetings, product demonstrations and commercial discussions
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Managing complex sales cycles through to close
  • Representing the business at industry events and exhibitions
  • Consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success in a B2B SaaS, Technology or Consultative Sales role
  • Strong new business mentality and a passion for winning business
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and C-level decision-makers
  • Self-motivated, resilient and highly ambitious
  • Track record of exceeding targets and driving commercial growth
  • Education, Learning Technology or Training sector experience is advantageous but not essential

Package

  • £45,000-£55,000 Base Salary
  • Uncapped Commission (OTE £90,000 -£100,000+)
