Business Development Manager✨
London - Hybrid (3 days in Central London office)
Salary - £35,000-£40,000 + (£72,000 OTE)
About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing specialist digital media business.
This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment, enjoys building long-term client relationships, and wants to be part of a collaborative business with genuine opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and performance KPIs.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and proactive prospecting.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to negotiation, closing, and ongoing account management.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, understanding their commercial objectives and delivering tailored solutions.
- Drive account growth through renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Contribute ideas for inbound lead generation through digital marketing initiatives, email campaigns, social media, and website promotion.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and market intelligence.
- Work closely with marketing, editorial, and customer success teams to deliver successful client campaigns and maximise customer satisfaction.

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in a B2B sales environment, ideally within media, publishing, events, conferences, or a related sector.
- Experience selling consultative, service-led solutions and developing bespoke commercial proposals.
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets through both new business acquisition and account development.
- The ability to quickly learn new industries or technologies and confidently engage in consultative conversations with senior stakeholders.
- Strong relationship-building and account management skills.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management abilities.
