Business Development Manager - Hedge Funds

London: Hybrid

Salary

base £90k-£100k + around 2x OTE

Our client is a financial technology provider delivering trading, risk management, and prime brokerage solutions to hedge funds, asset managers, and other financial institutions. They're looking for a driven new-business hunter, capable of growing hedge fund sales in London.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities, focusing on hedge funds.
  • Build and manage the entire sales-cycle from cold outreach through qualification, demos, and closing.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build market presence.
  • Maximise the learning and mentorship opportunities available from working side-by-side with senior sales colleagues.

Key requirements:

  • 5-7 years’ experience selling into buy-side, preferably into hedge funds or clear knowledge, and aptitude, selling trading, risk management or prime brokerage software.
  • Energised by a pure new-business, hunter sales role.
  • Self-driven, competitive and ambitious to succeed in a competitive market.
  • University Degree preferred but not essential.
