Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Southsea. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue opportunities to increase customer traffic, grow revenue, and expand local market presence.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

- Building relationships with local businesses and community partners
- Managing promotional initiatives
- Supporting the design and execution of marketing campaigns
- Analyzing sales data
- Monitoring customer feedback
- Recommending changes to offerings or pricing to improve performance
The role involves collaborating with the management team to develop growth strategies, support event planning, and ensure brand standards are maintained across all customer touchpoints.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within hospitality, retail, or a related customer-facing environment.
- Strong skills in relationship building, negotiation, and stakeholder management, with the ability to engage local businesses and community organizations.
- Ability to analyze sales figures, market trends, and customer feedback to inform practical growth strategies and action plans.
- Competence in basic marketing activities, including local promotions, social media coordination, and event support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to work effectively on-site with the operational team.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and work independently.
- Experience in the UK hospitality sector and familiarity with the Southsea area is an advantage.
- Relevant education or training in business, marketing, hospitality management, or a similar field is beneficial.
