BDM - DATA CENTRES

Uncapped Commission + Company Car + WFH

About Optronix

Optronix works across the whole data centre lifecycle. We plan, build, move, run and decommission data centre infrastructure for enterprise, colocation and hyperscale clients. Our services include migrations, white space fit-out, structured cabling, rack and stack, smart hands and managed operations, assessments and ITAD. We work directly with end clients, and through IT resellers, distributors and main contractors. Our projects are in the UK, Europe and the US. Demand for data centre capacity is growing fast, and we're hiring a Business Development Manager to win new clients and grow the accounts we already have.

The role

The job is roughly half new business and half account management. You'll find and win new clients, look after the ones we have so they give us more work, and build relationships with the partners who bring us into their projects. You don't need to be an engineer. Our technical and delivery team scopes and prices the work with you.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
