Maybe you don’t need a new career. Maybe you just need to enjoy it again.

Quooker is looking for a Business Development Manager to take ownership of Scotland.

If you’re already successful in field sales or business development, you probably know the routine.

  • A territory.
  • A target.
  • A diary full of visits.

But the best BDMs know the job can be so much more than that.

  • It’s the dealer who calls you because they trust your opinion.
  • The showroom that starts performing because you spotted something others hadn’t.
  • The team that suddenly gets behind your product because you made them believe in it.

That’s the person we’re looking for.

At Quooker, you’ll be trusted to take real ownership of Scotland. We want you to understand your territory, build genuine relationships with our dealers and use your judgement to work out where you can make the biggest difference.

Yes, we want growth. Yes, there’s Salesforce. Yes, you’ll spend plenty of time on the road.

But we don’t want someone who simply counts visits.

We want someone who makes the visits count.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll work with showroom managers and designers, deliver training that people actually remember, identify opportunities for growth and build the kind of relationships that make Quooker the brand people want to recommend. That’s very much what the role is designed around.

You might already be doing this job.

You could be working in kitchens, interiors, premium appliances, retail, territory sales or account management.

In fact, you might already be brilliant at it.

Perhaps you’re just ready to work somewhere that gives you the space to bring some personality back to it.

We’re looking for someone who’s commercially sharp, naturally curious and brilliant with people.

Someone who follows through, notices opportunities and doesn’t need a manager constantly telling them where to go next.

You don’t need to be the loudest salesperson in the room.

You do need to be someone people remember.

Because this is Scotland, we’re particularly interested in someone who knows the market, understands the people and can build genuine credibility with our Scottish dealers.
