Bespoke Business Development Manager – Sales (Life Sciences & Events Sponsorship)
About the Role
Are you bored with your job but still hitting your sales targets? You’ve built a strong network from selling to life science decision-makers, but you want greater ownership, influence, and alignment with a company that values your talent and ambition.
At Impatient Health, we’re a sharp, energised innovation consultancy and think-tank disrupting the life sciences industry. We challenge behaviors, rally change-makers, and inspire pharma to step up for patients. Our growth is rushed—we’re 5 years old but scaling fast, and we need a high-performing sales leader to expand our market-validated offering among disruptive start-ups to industry giants.
Your voice matters here. Beyond sales targets, you’ll play an active role in defining strategy, driving creativity, and contributing to the direction of the business.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: identify strategic sponsors and craft ales approaches to kickstart relationships
- Proposal Development: independently create tailored winning proposals for clients
- Negotiation & Closing: engage and negotiate with decision-makers to secure best-in-class deals
- Account Management: nurture long-term, profitable partnerships with event sponsors for repeat business
- Sales Strategy: collaborate with our Community team and cross-departmental experts to develop and refine commercial strategies
- Company Growth: contribute beyond sales—assist in company strategy, experiment with disruptive approaches, and help shape Impatient Health’s future

From the interview: your task
We’ll diploma you first with:
- A quick 15-20 min chat (room to explain / engage)
- An unerringly short take-home challenge
- Then a scenario-based role reaction call
- Finally, a 60-minute panel testing skills up against Impatient’s culture
Compensation
- Base Salary: £40,000–£45,000 (reflecting your track record)
- Total OTE Budget: £60,000–£75,000
- Generous performance bonuses tied to both individual & company targets, fostering real alignment with growth.
