Live Entertainment
Location: London
Salary: GBP 60,000 - GBP 70,000
We're looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to join a growing ticketing business within the live entertainment sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a natural new business hunter who loves opening doors, building relationships and turning opportunities into long-term commercial partnerships.
You will take ownership of building a strong pipeline of new business, generating qualified leads and developing relationships across theatre, live entertainment, immersive experiences, attractions, events and hospitality. You will be confident speaking with stakeholders at all levels - from venue managers and producers through to founders, Commercial Directors and senior executives and will play a key role in growing the external client portfolio.

The Role
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Identify, approach and engage prospective clients across the live entertainment sector
- Generate qualified leads and convert opportunities into long term commercial partnerships
- Build relationships with venues, producers, attractions, experience led businesses and other potential partners
- Deliver pitches and presentations to both operational and senior level decision makers
- Understand prospective clients commercial needs and develop the right solutions
- Represent the business at industry events and build a strong network within the sector
- Take ownership of opportunities from initial conversation through to conversion
Experience
- Experience within business development, sales or commercial partnerships
- A proven track record of generating and developing new business opportunities
- Commercially driven, proactive and confident opening doors
- Strong relationship-building, communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable influencing and engaging with senior decision-makers
- Highly organised with strong follow through
- Resilient, motivated and comfortable working towards commercial objectives
- A natural relationship builder who listens to clients and understands their needs

Experience within ticketing, theatre, live events, attractions, hospitality or experiential businesses would be a real advantage, as would an existing industry network.
