Business Development Manager

Business development manager required for this fantastic charity, with links within the travel industry. They are looking for an experienced business development manager from either the travel industry or a charity to join the team. The role is approached new corporate companies to help grow their fundraising growth. 5 days a week, 2 days in the office in South West London, 3 days out and about and from home. Salary between 40/45k plus pension, 23 days holidays etc.

Business Development Managers Duties

  • Focus on securing new corporate business, winning, negotiating and delivering new partners and meeting sales/fundraising targets
  • Providing relevant research, preparing pitches and presentations, and attending meetings
  • Contribute to proposals to trusts and foundations, supporting the head of fundraising and communications
  • Provide support for the companies events, networking opportunities, conferences and partner events, building relationships with potential supporters and corporate contacts.
  • Keep up to date with fundraising trends

  • Minimum of two years experience in a business development role within the travel industry targeting corporates or within the charity sector
  • Excellent written skills and able to create compelling proposals
  • Ability to research, and engage prospective supporters
  • Excellent verbal communication skills including presentation skills
  • Self starter with a can do attitude
  • Confident, motivated
