Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Manager (Asset Finance)

Salary: Up to £45k + uncapped monthly commission

Location: Remote in the East Coast

Vargo is hiring for a dynamic asset finance funder offering hire purchase and leasing services to SMEs across the UK. This role will address the rising demand for asset finance from SMEs and brokers in the South West and South Wales regions.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through your introducer network
  • Structure and agree on initial facility terms
  • Submit facility proposals to underwriters
  • Attend client meetings for document signing
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure a smooth onboarding process
  • Present a professional first-line impression to external stakeholders
  • Operate effectively from day one with minimal supervision

Requirements

  • Several years’ experience within the asset finance sector
  • Established broker relationships and a strong understanding of industrial equipment and vehicles
  • Target-driven with strong planning skills and the ability to manage high activity levels and engagement strategies
