Job Introduction
Pentagon Motor Group have an amazing new career opportunity available for a Fleet Business Development Manager to join their West Hallam Corporate team! This position will allow you the variety of working with New Car & Commercial Vehicles across 21 manufacturer brands from our corporate fleet hub.

What will you be doing?
- Actively seek and secure new business from the corporate arena on Car & Commercial Vehicles across all brands represented by Pentagon Motor Group
- Sell the benefits of the wider Motus Group in order to maximise its investment in return by providing introductions to the wider group (HGV/Parts/Conversions)
- Maintain and grow existing corporate account relationships exploiting every opportunity
- Build in Fleet Recharge to aid in departmental and increasing delivery costs
- Build relationships with our manufacturer partner Fleet Sales Teams to encourage incremental business
- Work closely with Lease Company representatives and with our Lease Company Development Team to identify new opportunities
- Follow agreed processes for accurate order administration
- Be responsible for all vehicle debt relating to orders in your responsibility and ensure all vehicles are paid within agreed terms
- Effective 100% follow up of all opportunities to include lost sale reporting
- Help MOTUS Group UK to achieve industry-leading standards of customer care and process efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry guidelines
- Competently manage new and ongoing orders through to vehicle delivery providing clear, precise update information
- Manage relationships with converters and other Motus business areas to ensure a smooth order to delivery process.

Key Tasks
- Gain understanding of Motus Group UK brands, manufacturers and products
- Customer face to face interaction
- Work towards an agreed recharge, order and delivery target
- Monthly reporting on sales activity and opportunities
- Manage vehicle debt and be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are paid for within terms
- Utilise existing databases to prospect existing and potential customers as well as effective response to inbound leads
- Explore the best way to use all current prospect data to effectively promote the business
- Explore various routes for prospect capture – marketing ideas
- Take part in monthly sales meetings and fleet related events
- Handle any customer issues with understanding and discretion and ensure swift resolution/response
- Operate within the law at all times.
- Ensure all health and safety legislation and internal procedures are followed.

Essential Recruitment Criteria
Education
- Good standard of education including Maths & English
Experience
- Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Commercial Vehicle experience would be desirable
- Excellent computer skills, including experience of operating word processing and database packages, email and internet – training on databases would be provided
- Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to retain new technical information
