About us:

Scancom is a UK mobile connectivity reseller making it simple and affordable to stay connected. We're growing our retail footprint and looking for a driven, relationship-first salesperson to get our SIM cards onto shelves across the UK.

The Role:

This is a partnership sales role at heart. You won't be selling to individual customers, you'll be selling Scancom to retailers, convincing store owners and buyers that stocking our SIM cards is a smart move for their business. You'll be out building relationships, negotiating stockist agreements, and turning conversations into shelf space. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Leicester.

What you'll be doing:

  • Identifying and approaching independent retailers, convenience stores, and multi-site chains as potential stockists
  • Pitching Scancom's SIM products and building the commercial case for why retailers should partner with us
  • Negotiating stockist agreements, pricing, and in-store positioning
  • Managing and growing relationships with existing retail partners to maximise sell-through
  • Setting up in-store displays and point-of-sale materials with retail partners
  • Tracking outreach, pipeline, and partnership performance
  • Working closely with the marketing team to align retail growth with wider brand campaigns
  • Hitting and exceeding monthly partnership and sales targets
  • Reporting to the Head of ECommerce

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
