BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

London – Hybrid

About the Opportunity

A leading international crisis response and risk management firm is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth across the insurance, legal, and corporate sectors. Working with an international client base spanning insurers, brokers, law firms, and corporate organisations, you'll play a pivotal role in a fast-growing consultancy operating at the sharp end of crisis and security risk. This is a rare opportunity to own the commercial function of a specialist consultancy at a genuine growth inflection point, shaping strategy, building relationships with major insurance partners, and helping organisations prepare for, and respond to, their most critical moments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Growing revenue across the insurance, legal, and corporate and commercial sectors
  • Building and managing strategic relationships with key stakeholders
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Creating compelling proposals, pitch decks, and client presentations
  • Supporting bids and tender submissions
  • Owning CRM and pipeline management
  • Contributing to marketing campaigns and client-facing collateral
  • Working closely with senior consultants and executive leadership

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
