Business Development Manager

to £50,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission + Company Vehicle

Leeds-based | National Territory

Security | Facilities Management | Commercial Services

We seek an ambitious Business Development professional to join a growing national service provider to play a key role in its next phase of expansion. This is a genuine hunter role – you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships with senior decision-makers, and taking new business from initial prospecting through to contract award.

What You'll Be Selling

A growing portfolio of outsourced services including:

  • Security Guarding & Event Security
  • Commercial Cleaning
  • Remote CCTV / CCTV Tower Solutions
  • Concierge Services
  • Waking Watch & Fire Safety

The Role

You will take ownership of a national territory, develop new client relationships, and build a strong pipeline of high-value opportunities. You will be responsible for:

  • Generating new business and developing your own pipeline
  • Building relationships with FM, Procurement, Estates and Property decision-makers
  • Identifying opportunities across commercial, construction, logistics, retail, healthcare and public-sector markets
  • Managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract award
  • Preparing tenders, proposals, presentations, and commercial quotations
  • Negotiating contracts and closing new business
  • Working with operations to successfully mobilise new contracts
  • Developing opportunities across multiple service lines.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3+ years' B2B Business Development / Sales experience
  • Proven success selling Security, FM, Cleaning, Fire Safety, CCTV or similar outsourced services
  • A demonstrable record of winning new contracts
  • Experience with tenders and procurement processes
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Existing relationships within FM, property, construction, housing, or corporate markets
  • The confidence to engage senior decision-makers
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
