About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help grow two established businesses serving the construction and property sectors.
Excel Fire provides passive fire protection, fire door inspections and installations, fire stopping and other fire safety services. Excel Exteriors delivers roofing, waterproofing, groundworks, electrical works and planned and reactive maintenance.
This is an opportunity to develop relationships on behalf of both companies. We already work with multiple main contractors and other major clients. We now want someone who can strengthen those relationships, introduce us to the right new clients and turn opportunities into profitable, deliverable work.

What you will do
- Build relationships with main contractors, housing providers, property managers and other suitable clients
- Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for both businesses
- Find and qualify new projects, frameworks and tender opportunities
- Work closely with our estimating and operational teams so that proposals reflect what we can deliver
- Maintain a clear pipeline and report on opportunities, tenders and work secured
- Represent both companies at client meetings, industry events and site visits
What we are looking for
You will have a strong track record in business development within construction, property maintenance, roofing, fire protection or a related sector. You will understand how contractors win work and have the confidence to build lasting relationships with decision makers.

This is a hands on role with the support of two experienced teams and the opportunity to make a visible difference to both businesses.
