Business Development Manager
Salary: up to £50,000 Per Annum DOE + Benefits + Hybrid Working
Location: Leeds / Hybrid
Travel: Nationwide
The Opportunity
We are working with a well-established global organisation operating within the property and professional services sector, which is experiencing continued growth across the UK.
They are now looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving new business, developing strategic partnerships and expanding their presence within the market.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and taking ownership of the full business development cycle.
The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new opportunities while developing strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the property ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities to grow the client base and market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including estate agents, mortgage brokers, property professionals and developers.
- Research the market to identify emerging trends, opportunities and competitor activity.
- Develop and execute a structured sales strategy aligned with wider business objectives.
- Attend industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to generate new relationships and opportunities.
- Manage the sales pipeline and monitor performance against agreed targets.
- Provide regular sales reports, market insight and recommendations to senior management.
- Work closely with internal marketing, operations and service teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Develop strategic partnerships that support long-term business growth.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure all sales activity is tracked effectively.
- Travel nationally as required to meet clients and attend industry events.

About You
We are looking for a commercially minded Business Development/Sales professional with a proven track record of winning new business and developing strong client relationships.

Experience within property, conveyancing, real estate, financial services or a related professional services environment would be highly advantageous.
You Will Ideally Have:
- Proven experience in business development, sales or account management.
- Strong understanding of the property transaction or conveyancing environment.
- A demonstrable track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and influencing skills.
- A strategic and commercially focused approach to identifying opportunities.
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales activity.
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- A willingness to travel nationally.
- Access to the Leeds office would be advantageous.
