BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - MARKETING AGENCY

GLOUCESTERSHIRE - HYBRID

UP TO £60,000 DOE + UNCAPPED COMMISSION

Are you an ambitious Business Development Manager based in Gloucestershire, looking for a new role? Do you have experience as a BDM, within a Marketing Agency?

In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and winning new business, building relationships with brands and decision-makers, and turning opportunities into long-term clients. You’ll be selling marketing services across areas such as TikTok Shop, influencer marketing, paid media, content creation, creator campaigns and social strategy.

The role:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, email, and industry events
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients
  • Research brands and identify opportunities where TikTok can drive meaningful commercial results
  • Conduct discovery calls and meetings with marketing directors, founders, e-commerce managers, and other senior decision-makers
  • Develop tailored pitches and proposals based on each prospect’s objectives and challenges
  • Present the agency’s services, capabilities, case studies, and creative ideas with confidence
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to negotiation and closing
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and convert them into long-term agency clients
  • Work closely with strategy, creative, influencer, and performance teams to develop compelling proposals
  • Keep up to date with TikTok trends, creator marketing, TikTok Shop, paid social, and the wider digital marketing industry
  • Attend relevant networking events, conferences, and industry opportunities to generate new relationships

  • At least 2 years experience as a Business Development Manager within a Marketing Agency, ideally with a specialism in TikTok
  • Proven track record of generating and closing new business
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Commercially ambitious with a strong understanding of the sales process
  • Strong understanding of social media and the TikTok ecosystem
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing your own pipeline
  • A genuine interest in TikTok, creators, social commerce, and digital marketing
