Salary: Β£45,000 - Β£50,000 + Uncapped Commission (2.5% on all contracts and sales won) + benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start: Immediate (willing to wait for notice period)
Contract: Permanent / Full-Time – (Remote / Field Based)
Location: UK Wide – Remote / Field Based

πŸš€ Culture Guru is recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record of winning new business for a growing environmental services company, specialising in Asbestos & Fire Safety, progressing through an exciting growth period within its business journey.

⭐ This evolving company's Business Development Manager vacancy would suit someone who can confidently identify and target new opportunities, someone who can build genuine commercial relationships across the asbestos sector, and someone who can convert opportunities into long-term contracts – all while managing their own schedule with genuine autonomy.

πŸ€“ Responsibilities of the role but not limited to:

  • Driving the top line by bringing in fresh contract wins across surveying and adjacent services
  • Opening up new client conversations and turning them into commercial partnerships
  • Mapping out the sectors, frameworks and accounts worth going after
  • Keeping a healthy, well-managed pipeline that converts
  • Getting in front of decision-makers – meetings, networking, site visits, whatever it takes
  • Shaping the commercial growth plan alongside senior leadership
  • Closing deals on terms that work for both sides
  • Working hand-in-hand with the wider delivery and client-handling teams to land new clients smoothly
  • Consistently delivering against (and beating) commercial targets

😍 Desirable attributes of the successful candidate:

  • A genuine track record of winning new commercial work in the asbestos space
  • Hard evidence of the contracts and revenue you've personally brought in
  • A solid grasp of how asbestos surveying services are sold and delivered
  • A history of nurturing commercial relationships that actually convert
  • Existing relationships, contacts or a book you could realistically bring with you
  • Familiarity with non-UKAS accredited asbestos work
  • Bonus points if you've sold fire risk assessments or wider compliance services
  • A confident, credible communicator who knows how to negotiate
  • Driven by targets, comfortable owning your own time and your own results
  • Strong on outbound activity and building genuine rapport
  • Full UK driving licence
