Role Description

The Business Development Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sevenoaks. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across key market segments.

  • Prospecting and qualifying leads
  • Conducting client meetings and presentations
  • Preparing proposals and quotes
  • Managing the sales pipeline from initial contact through to closing

The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams to:

  • Translate client needs into effective promotional product solutions
  • Ensure timely project delivery
  • Maintain high client satisfaction

The role also involves:

  • Monitoring market trends
  • Attending relevant industry events
  • Contributing to sales strategies and forecasts

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within marketing, promotions, or branded merchandise.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals, with the ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with a focus on building long-term client partnerships.
  • Capability to understand client needs and translate them into tailored promotional product solutions and proposals.
  • Comfort working with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic commercial analysis to inform strategy and decisions.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented work style, with strong time management and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Interest in sustainability and eco-friendly products, with a willingness to learn about new materials and suppliers.
  • Previous experience in a similar role and a track record of business growth; a relevant degree or equivalent experience is beneficial.
