Role Description
The Business Development Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sevenoaks. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across key market segments.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Prospecting and qualifying leads
- Conducting client meetings and presentations
- Preparing proposals and quotes
- Managing the sales pipeline from initial contact through to closing
The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams to:
- Translate client needs into effective promotional product solutions
- Ensure timely project delivery
- Maintain high client satisfaction
The role also involves:
- Monitoring market trends
- Attending relevant industry events
- Contributing to sales strategies and forecasts
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within marketing, promotions, or branded merchandise.
- Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals, with the ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with a focus on building long-term client partnerships.
- Capability to understand client needs and translate them into tailored promotional product solutions and proposals.
- Comfort working with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic commercial analysis to inform strategy and decisions.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented work style, with strong time management and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Interest in sustainability and eco-friendly products, with a willingness to learn about new materials and suppliers.
- Previous experience in a similar role and a track record of business growth; a relevant degree or equivalent experience is beneficial.
